Mullen, Ginger

MACL alumna (2000); Assistant Professor, Department of English, Mount Royal University; Regional Officer, Canadian Children’s Book Centre; Professional storyteller; Oral Literacy Parent-Child-Mother Goose Program facilitator

For my part, the MACL degree has paved the way for my job with the Canadian Children’s Book Centre and now as assistant professor at Mount Royal University. I think the hiring committee was very interested in the multidisciplinary aspect of it. Also, in my freelance work, the fact that I have an MA gives me added credibility, particularly with educators, in the work I do with storytelling and rhymes. On a personal level, it has been delightful to share my knowledge with my children.
